Formed in 1999 in Victoria,BC by Jamie Hooper(vox), Sunny Dhak(axe), Bobby Froese(axe), Jay Watts(axe), Rich Trawick(bass), & Geoff Trawick(drums). Jay Watts leaves band July 2000 after most of band moves to Vancouver. Rich stays in Victoria, makes commute to Vancouver ever so often. TIOB records 5 song EP in late 2000. Early 2002, Cam Pipes adds backup vox to a song on TIOB's EP. Band asks Cam to join as co-lead vocalist. March 2001, Cam Pipes joins Three Inches of Blood. April 2001, Cam and Rich move to Vancouver, making the transition final...TIOB is a VANCOUVER metal band. Many gigs follow over the next six months. Sept-Nov 2001, Band records full length album with Jesse Gander(DBS). Album is - Battlecry Under a Winter Sun.
